Mixed feelings...

Judging from your comments, it seems that most of you are feeling stressed though it's only week 2. I'm concerned. It should not be.

When you feel overwhelmed, remember, the most important thing you should do, is to simply 'DO YOUR BEST'! Take one step at a time, settle the most important task on your list. This is what I have been telling myself when I realised that my 'to-do' list is never coming to an end. When desperate, depressed and helpless, then, PRAY for divine help!

I truly wish and hope that all of you will enjoy your schooling days. Enjoy the presence of your friends around you.

  2. Well....... I think that we should all do our best at all times, but what happens if you are stuck, I mean completely stuck with the homework, in between the tuition work and school work? If you do the school work, you will get grilled by the tution teacher and vice-versa. And what is your definition of friends?

  3. Hmm... I think some friends are no good. Some hurt people, some even say bad things about certain people behind their backs. Some friends look good but he/she in their heart are no good. I mean, you cannot judge a book by its cover, you cannot judge a person by its looks.

  4. Um ... You got us wrong, Like, no matter how hard we try, our parents are always still thinking that we did not do our best just because our marks decreased. And, how are we supposed to enjoy school when we wake up so early and feeling tired? We also sometimes have tons of homework when we are staying back and have no time do them. Some of us do not really have 'real' friends so we can't enjoy school as much. But, thanks for trying.

    Dear Mrs Tay,
All that you said is true, children nowadays are more stressed than children last time learnt slower than children now. And we really must try harder to do our best. Yes I agree. Children nowadays learn much faster than children a long time ago. We have prove our parents tell us how much faster the syllabus is now than last time.

Yes, I agree that kids these day are experiencing more stress. I have to cope with schoolwork as well as tuition work, not to mention multiple activities outside. I think the education system should focus less on distinctions so that students won't feel so pressured.

  11. Um. Um. Um. Yes everyone's very stressed. I'm very stressed too so little easy English homework so much hard Math homework. Define 'friends'. Most important task on my list is to just 'stay alive'. It's harder than it sounds.

  14. Mrs Tay,
Can you post some more things 'cause I am bored to see nothing new posted on your blog. If this is the New Year Eve and I feel bored, I think the rest of the New Years Day will be bored for me.
